Well, the show at the fair was lots of fun. We now have greater than ever appreciation for sound reinforcement mixers. The guys at Sonic-Rocket have spoiled us. The sound person at the fair did not know what they were doing so the spent the whole hour twiddling knobs on the mixer trying to figure out what they did. What they did was fluctuate between screeching feedback and turning off our monitors. In spite of the distractions we played half decently and had fun time. Some old friends showed up to cheer us on which made it even more special. Thanks to all who came out.

We’re super excited to let you know we’ll be playing at one of our very favorite watering holes Aztec Brewing on Friday, February 22nd at 8pm. This is the maiden voyage of our new line-up featuring lead guitarist Chris Mares and Keyboard / Sax player Ron Ebel. We’ve in the middle slot, playing a 13 song set featuring some of our favorites. We’re bringing out new, more aggressive arrangements and even playing one tune we’ve never before attempted live.
Aztec is located at 2330 La Mirada Blvd. .Suite 200 in Vista. It’s a family friendly venue that serves some of the best beer in San Diego county. Our pals Ron Franklin, and The Soul Seekers join us at this show.

This is a big weekend for Christopher Cash & The Brilliant Deductions! We are performing at the San Diego County Fair tonight at 9pm on the O’Brien Stage. Tomorrow we’re playing at Legacy Brewing in Oceanside also starting around 9pm. At the Sonic-Rocket Legacy show our friends Greg & Ian from The Topaz Duo will dazzle with some classical music starting about 7pm followed by our pals The Ron Franklin Band around 8pm. The boys and I will be doing a full 90 minute set packed with original material old and new. See ya there! Gonna be F-U-N!!!!
We had a good time playing the Sonic-Rocket night at Aztec Brewery with our pals the Ron Franklin band and the Satellite Sons. There were a few technical difficulties but we pressed on through them and had a lot of fun. Thanks to Daniel Salas, Kenzie Espinoza-Finch, and James Berry for their excellent help. Big thanks to our friends and neighbors who came out to be part of the fun!
